Savour Poland

When travelling around Poland, we encourage our customers to visit places associated with the production of regional delicacies, as well as to taste regional cuisine. In keeping with the Polish tradition of hospitality, our tables are filled readily with regional products made in a traditional and eco-friendly manner of high-quality, natural ingredients. We encourage you to taste traditional soups (żurek – sour rye soup, borsch), baked goods (bread, bagels, pretzels), cheese produced in the Polish mountains of sheep’s milk (oscypek, bryndza, bundz), honey from mountain apiaries and strong alcoholic beverages (Polish vodka and plum brandy). Sightseeing in Poland may be combined with the tasting of regional products, participation in culinary workshops or with a visit to local manufacturers merged with learning about the history and culture of the region.

Day 1

Krakow

A tour of Krakow. A welcome dinner at a local restaurant serving traditional Polish cuisine, combined with the tasting of selected Polish alcohol.

Day 2

Wieliczka Salt Mine

Known worldwide for its unique salt mine. Dinner in one of the underground chambers, where you can taste dishes prepared with the use of the salt of Wieliczka.

Day 3

The Museum of Żywiec Brewery

One of the first and best-known breweries in Poland.It is an interactive museum where you can see the vintage machinery still running, enjoy the atmosphere of beer production and, of course, taste Żywiec beer.

Zakopane

A town located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, the winter capital of Poland, the centre of tourism and active leisure Here, you have an opportunity to learn the highland traditions and to taste sheep cheese, natural fruit preserves and homemade meat products. Dinner in a regional Inn with a performance by a regional folk band.

Day 4

Nowy Sącz

The city and region famous for the production of plum brandy and aromatic honeys.

Jasło

The town located in a region where a dozen years ago winemaking was revived, the tradition of which dates back to the 13 th century. At present, this area delights with its own wine production and is one of the fastest growing „wine regions” in Poland.

A visit to a local vineyard, a meeting with a winemaker, learning about the culinary traditions of the region. Overnight stay at an agritourism farm or a boarding house in the area.

Day 5

Łańcut

A town famous not only for one of the most beautiful aristocratic residences but also for the production of vodka. Visiting the Castle, its Stately Chambers, as well as a magnificent carriage house and an orangery. An afternoon tour of the unique Distillery Museum, situated in a Neoclassical manor house of 1833.

Day 6

The Castle in Baranów Sandomierski

Called the Little Wawel, one of the most beautiful Mannerist buildings in Poland. A lavish dinner at the Castle restaurant with an opportunity to taste exquisite dishes of the aristocratic cuisine.
